Directions ~ LED Lights.

LED lights will last approximately 2 hours, providing a safe alternative to regular candle flames. To use the LED lights, simply place them under the candle. Please do not attach them with the sticker provided. The candle will prevent access to the battery compartment and the LEDs will need to be removed from the candle when it's time for a battery change. This could potentially damage the candle or LEDs.

LED discs take 2. CR1220 3v Coin Lithium Cell Batteries.

Press on/off button multiple times for different effects and (colours. Colour LEDs only).

Directions ~ Wick Candles.

Always trim wick to 5mm 0.5cm before lighting.

Do not burn for more than 4hours. Allow candle to cool before relighting.

Please use a appropriate snuffer to extinguish flame.

Warning!

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Always burn out of reach of children & pets.

Always leave a space of 10cm or more between candles.

Never burn near flammable objects.

Never burn near open windows.

Always place on a suitable heat proof surface before lighting.

All burn times are the total of burn time if burned for no more than 4 hours at a time. These times are approximate as the fragrance and placement of candle (i.e. in a draft or near a heat source, (Oven, Fireplace or radiator) can affect how fast a candle burns.

Please Note. Candles containing natural waxes like Coconut, Palm and Soy could expire within 1 to 2 years. Beeswax Paraffin waxes usually will last much longer.

Things to look for.

Check the candle’s cold throw – The cold throw, or the fragrance of an unlit candle, weakens with age. If you breathe in a candle’s scent and it’s hard to detect - gently scratch the outer surface and if it still doesn’t smell, it may be past its prime.

Observe the candle’s colour – Was the candle once a bright red, and has now faded to a sickly salmon? If that colour has faded or changed, it is a sure indication that you’re probably holding a candle that is old. It should still burn okay, but it just won’t be as nice to look at.

Check for dryness and yellowing – If the candle was colourless when you purchased it, yellowing or dry, cracked wax indicates it’s overstayed its welcome.

Can you burn a expired Candle? Yes.

Follow the safety warnings and instructions when you're using that older candle.

Your wax candle may not be as fragrant as a new candle.

Your candle may burn unevenly, even after you’ve trimmed the candle wick.

Your candle wax may tunnel (deep pool of melted wax around to the wick which may drown the flame causing it to go out.)

Your wax candle may have less burn time.

Your candle may not light or stay lit.

How to extend the life of your candle.

Keep it out of the sun – Sunlight is an enemy to just about any candle, and is especially tough on those made with essential oils, natural fragrances and plant-based or organic waxes. If your table gets a lot of direct sunlight, you might consider placing your candles in a closed cabinet or closet when they’re not being used.

Store it in an air-tight container.

Avoid extreme temperatures – Extreme heat or extreme cold can interfere with both candle’s fragrance profile and the consistency of its wax. Be sure to keep your candles in a cool, dark place to keep them in pristine condition. This is also one of the ways to fix tunnelling.
